I. Intro
When composing an email, you can instantly create an event and send an event invitation by email.
II. Steps
  1. Click Compose, then click the Event Invitation icon on the toolbar below Subject.

  1. In the New event invitation window that appears, specify the event time, meeting type, location, and meeting room, then click Confirm.

  1. After confirming the event details, finish typing your email, then click Send.
Note: If an email contains an event, the To field cannot contain mailing list addresses and you cannot use the Send Separately feature.

  1. After the email is sent, Feishu creates an event in Feishu Calendar. Go to Sent to view the sent email containing the event invitation.

  1. Whenever a recipient replies Yes, No, or Maybe to your event invitation, you will receive a notification email so that you can keep track of participant numbers for your event.

III. FAQs
Can I update an event after sending the email?
Method 1: From the sent email
  1. Go to Sent and open the sent email containing the event invitation. Click More Details to bring up the Event Detail page.
  1. Click the Edit event icon in the upper-right corner to open the event editing window.

  1. After updating the event, click Send to send a notification email containing the latest event information. The event panel in the original email will display "Invite expired and event updated."

Method 2: From Feishu Calendar
  1. Click the Edit event icon in the upper-right corner of the event panel to open the editing page. Here you can then update the event information.

  1. After updating the event, click Send to send a notification email containing the latest event information to the recipients. The event panel in the original email will display "Invite expired and event updated."
Can I delete an event after sending the email?
Yes. If you need to delete the event, you can do it from Calendar by following these steps:
  1. Click Calendar in the navigation bar and find the corresponding event.
  1. Click the Delete event icon in the upper-right corner of the event panel.

  1. After deleting the event, click Send to send a notification email to the recipients. The event panel in the original email will display "xx canceled the event."

If the email containing the event invitation is deleted or recalled, will the created event be canceled?
No, it won't be canceled.
