I. Function overview
The integrated translation function in Docs takes effective collaboration to the next level! Now your global team can translate documents into their preferred language, facilitating cross-cultural communication. Currently, Chinese, English, Japanese, and Thai are supported.
II. How to use it?
1. Translate documents
- •Click the ... icon - Translation in the upper right corner. Then, select your preferred language and your entire document, including comments, will be instantly translated.
- •By default, only the translated version is displayed. You can hover your mouse over a particular section to view the original text.
2. Adjust display of original texts and translation
- •By default, only the translated version is displayed. If you need to view the original text and translation at the same time, you can click the Translation Preferences button at the top of the page. Then, in the For translated content option, select Show original text and translation.
After setting it successfully, your document will be displayed as follows:
