I. Receive notifications
1. Set up which message types to receive notifications
Go to Profile photo > Settings > Notifications, find Message notifications, and choose to whether receive All new messages or only specific messages.
Note: When you choose to only receive specific messages, you can only set up notifications for @Me messages, @All messages, and private messages. You can also click Settings > Efficiency and choose to enable or disable @All messages in the @Me group message type.

2. Make sure Do not disturb is turned off
When you click your profile photo on the upper-left corner, make sure that your status is NOT set as Do not disturb (the bell button).
Note: After enabling Do not disturb, Feishu will be muted and will hide notifications for a specific period of time to help you focus on other priorities.

In addition, please open the notification settings on your device to confirm that notification permissions are enabled for the Feishu app, and that Do not disturb is not enabled. Android systems also need to disable power-saving mode and enable the app automatic start-up function to avoid issues like not receiving notifications and notification delays.
II. Notification sound settings
Go to Profile photo > Settings > Notifications, and turn on Notification sound.

In addition, please enable notification sound permissions for Feishu in your device settings.
III. Display number badges for apps
You'll need to set it up in your device's System Settings application. If you are using Mac, you can set to display number badges for apps.

I. Diagnose the message notification failure
1. Use Notification Troubleshooting to troubleshoot the problem.
If your device does not promptly receive notifications, tap your profile photo > Settings > Notifications. Select Notification Troubleshooting to troubleshoot through a diagnostic test.

2. Make sure notifications are turned on in your operating system.
Go to the notification settings in your device's operating system. Check that the system has notifications for Feishu turned on. Also make sure the "Do not disturb" mode is turned off.
Note: In Android systems that have a battery saver mode and an automatic app-launching function, you also need to turn these functions off to prevent failures and delays in receiving messages. Different phone brands' Android systems have different steps for doing this. To learn more, visit Unable to receive message notifications on Android devices.
II. Set notification sounds
Tap profile photo > Settings. Select Notifications, and check that New message notification sound is turned on. In addition, turn on notification sounds for Feishu in your device.
Note: New message notification sound is only available for Android.
III. Show app number badges
Go to the device's system settings to configure this.
