Q: What is a login credential?
A: Login credential refers to the Feishu account you use to login. You can set your mobile number or email address and log in by entering your password or receiving a verification code.
Q: How can I modify my login credential?
A:
Mobile: Click your profile photo in the upper left corner and go to Settings - Account and Security - Account Management to modify the mobile number or email address you want to use as your login credential.
Desktop: Click your profile photo in the upper left corner and go to Settings -Account and Security - Account Management - Set to make a modification.
Note: Please upgrade your desktop version to 3.34 or above. This modification only applies to the credential you'll use for logging in to Feishu, namely your mobile number or your email address, but won’t affect your contact information in your team contacts.
Q: What is contact information?
A: Contact info refers to the mobile number and email address you specify in your team contacts.
This information is imported by the administrator in Admin. Administrators can also set whether to show this contact information on your contact card page in Feishu Admin - Member Profile - Profile Page Display, so that other members in your team can call you and send you emails conveniently.
When another user sends a text message or makes an urgent call to you, it will be sent to the mobile number you specified in your team contacts.
Q: How can I modify my contact information?
A: If you’ve changed your commonly-used mobile number or email address, you need to modify your contact info in Feishu contacts. However, currently, you can’t make the modification on your own. Instead, you need to contact your team administrator and make the modification for you in Feishu Admin - Organization - Member and Department - Member Details.
Q: I've joined multiple teams in Feishu. Can I specify different contact info for these teams?
A: Yes, the contact information can vary among teams. However, your login credential must be consistent.
For example, you can specify a work mobile number as your contact info in a company team, and specify a private mobile number as your contact info in other non-company teams.
