In Feishu chat's message field, you may have noticed a + button. You can click it to send images, Docs and contact cards to the conversation, or initiate a Feishu poll.
But there's more potential in the + button...
Now, we've brought apps from the Workplace to the + button! By clicking the + button in a group or private chat, you can directly open an app in the chat to quickly create a survey, board, etc., and send it to the chat with one click.
Currently, many useful apps have enabled this feature so that you can find them in the + menu. We introduce the following cases about how to use some apps in the + menu to help you maximize communication efficiency and improve your conversational experience.
- 1.Vote in polls to gather everyone's opinion

From research planning to deciding what to eat, we face countless choices in daily life. You can open Qoll in the message field by clicking the + button to quickly enter the subject, type and options for your poll. You can also turn on the anonymous mode or specify the person to fill in, and send it to the group chat for everyone to vote with one click.
Creating a survey in the sidebar of the chat may be more convenient than you think. For example, when discussing what to eat, you can quickly gather everyone's opinions. You can scroll through the conversation to view members' suggestions and enter the options of the survey in the sidebar at the same time. You neither need to switch windows back and forth, nor memorize five or six restaurant names in one go.
- 2.Create tickets with all info at hand

There might be some customer feedback groups and internal bug complaint groups in your team. In these groups, the staff on duty needs to listen to feedback from all parties on the product from time to time, and create corresponding tickets to arrange related personnel to follow up.
To create a ticket, it's often needed to fill in lots of information, such as reporter's information, problem description, time when the problem occurred, deadline, priority, etc. The staff on duty needs to record all the information from the conversation in the ticket system. It's easy to make mistakes, and it's annoying to switch back and forth between the chat and the ticket system.
By clicking the + button in the message field to open Feixiang Task or similar apps, you can directly create a ticket in the sidebar of the chat, and record the information by viewing the chat history. When you have anything to be confirmed during the process, you can directly ask in the chat, and the sidebar won't automatically close. Once the ticket is created, you can share it in the group chat with one click to get timely feedback.

The message field not only displays apps from Feishu App Directory, but also allows you to add your custom apps here.
Take the internal cloud drive tool as an example: When you want to send a file to the group chat, you can open the cloud drive sidebar without leaving the chat, and quickly filter the corresponding files for sharing.
