I. Function overview
This feature allows you to insert a link into a table to redirect users to a cell, a cell range, a sheet, or an external webpage. Alternatively, you can generate a link that leads to a cell or a cell range, so others can instantly and efficiently view data more via the link.
II. Procedure
Insert a link
Select a cell and click the Link button in the table toolbar to insert a link. You'll see a text input box and a link input box in the panel.
- •Text input box: Enter the text to show in the cell.
- •Link input box: You can select Link to sheet, Link to cells from the list, or paste a website link directly into the box.
Link cell content to specific sheet
If you go to the link panel, under the dropdown list of the Link to sheet, you'll see all the sheets that you can link to the cell. By selecting one of the sheets, its name will automatically be entered in the text box. You can edit the text box as you wish. Click Confirm to complete the process.
Link cell content to specific cell range
After you select Link to cell in the link panel, you will be asked to Select a range of the cells to be linked with. You can select them by dragging your mouse over them. After you confirm the range, you can name that link in the text box. Once you click Confirm to complete the process, the link can automatically redirect users to the selected cell range, like a hyperlink will do.
Insert a webpage link
To insert a webpage link, you can directly paste its link to the link input box. Name the link in the text box and click Confirm to complete the process.
Get the link for locating cells
To get the link that will bring people to a cell or a cell range, first select the range with your mouse and right-click on it. Select Get link to this cell/range in the context menu to generate the link. Besides inserting the link into a sheet, you can also share it with members in your organization via Feishu.
Edit or delete a link
Hover the mouse over the cell containing the link, and select Edit link or Delete link on the right side of the toolbar. Click Edit link to edit the text and link content. Click Delete link to remove the added link, but the text will remain in the cell.
