This article describes how to host activities during a livestream for a more interactive experience.
During a livestream, the host can now use the Activities feature to send greetings, or write prize names as messages to run raffles. Along with the message, each recipient gets a unique lucky number, which can be used to conduct prize draws and determine winners.
Note: Livestream hosts can only initiate activities on the web. Viewers can participate in activities on the web or on mobile.
Set up an activity
The host can click on Activities to set up an activity.
Under the Greetings/Raffles tab, fill in the title for your activity, and enter the number of greetings or raffle tickets you want to send. For raffles, you can write prize names as messages. If you want to include multiple greetings or prizes, click Add to add a template and customize the number and message. After you fill in the details, you can click Send.
Note: If the host sends a new round of greetings or raffle tickets, the previous activity will automatically end.
Participate in an activity
After the host sends out greetings or raffle tickets, viewers will be able to see them appear on the livestream video player.
If they're logged in, viewers will be able to click Open to view the greeting or raffle ticket they've received, along with the lucky number. Viewers who aren't logged in will be asked to log in to participate in the activity.
To close a greeting or raffle ticket, click the exit button in the top right corner. Once closed, a scaled-down icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. Viewers can click on the icon anytime to view all of the greetings and/or raffle tickets they've received during the livestream.
