I. Intro
Who can perform these steps: Primary administrators and administrators with Meeting Rooms permissions.
If a meeting room is for the exclusive use of certain departments, members or user groups, administrators can limit the meeting room reservation scope so only certain members can reserve it.
Members outside the set scope won't be able to find the meeting room on Feishu.
II. Steps
Set reservation scope
First, enter the Feishu Admin Console. In the left navigation bar, click Meeting Rooms > Room Management.
To enter the settings page for an individual room or a meeting room layer, use one of the two following methods.
Method 1: An individual room
Find the meeting room that needs to be set. If your organization has a lot of meeting rooms, you can use the list on the left side to find the room in question. Once you've found the room, click the ··· More icon to the right of its name and click View details to enter the settings page.

Method 2: A meeting room layer
In the list on the left side of the management page, find the layer you wish to configure. Click the ··· More icon beside its name, then Settings. By default, sublayers and meeting rooms will follow the scope of their parent layer, but they can also be set separately.

Modify or cancel the reservation scope
After setting a reservation scope, the departments, members or user groups within the scope will be displayed under Who can make reservations on the settings page.
- At any time, administrators can click Configure to modify the reservation scope again.
- To lift the reservation scope restrictions, administrators can click Configure and then select All Members on the next page.

If you modify the reservation scope of a layer which has either sublayers or meeting rooms beneath it, you'll have the option to overwrite the customized scope(s) of its meeting rooms and any sublayers.
To do so, select Also apply to sublayers and meeting rooms that have been customized before in the window that pops up when you modify the level's reservation scope.

If you don't select this option, the sublayers and meeting rooms will retain their previously customized scopes.
