In the App Name Settings tab you can see the default names of the apps in different languages. Click Edit to change the app names displayed in the navigation bar.

Why are the links displayed in the member's navigation bar inconsistent with the links added in the Feishu Admin Console?
  • If a member adds, deletes, or reorders apps in the navigation bar, the links added by the administrator in the Feishu Admin Console will appear at the bottom of the member's navigation bar.
  • If a member hasn't adjusted their navigation bar, the links displayed will be consistent with those added by the administrator.
Can custom apps be added to the navigation bar?
Members can go to the Feishu Open Platform to develop and release custom apps. Once approved by an administrator, the app will be available for use by members. Administrators can then also add the app to the navigation bar. For more information on developing custom apps, see Overview of Open Platform.
Note: You can not configure bot apps to appear in the navigation bar.
Why doesn't the toolbar appear at the top of the app when I open a link added by the administrator?
  • If the member uses Feishu version 7.12 or below to open links other than documents in the app, there will be no top toolbar.
  • If you need to use the top toolbar when opening links in the app, you need to update Feishu to version 7.13 or above.

Why didn't some members receive a notification after the navigation bar was updated?
The members' Feishu app must be version 7.13 or higher. There may also be a short delay between the navigation bar being updated and members receiving a notification about it.
How to set the visibility of apps on the navigation bar?
You can do this by setting the app's visibility scope. If a member is not within the visibility scope set by the administrator for the app, the app will also be invisible to the member when the administrator adds it to the navigation bar. For more information, see Admin | Configure installation settings for apps.
